Lucy, You’ve Got Some Splain’ to do

I recently spent some time at the County Clerk’s office reviewing Catron County payroll records, and I came across some figures that raised questions for me.

The records appear to show that the County Manager received compensation substantially above her regular salary and the CLLA compensation amount I expected to see. I believe the public deserves a clear explanation of how these payments were calculated, whether they were authorized, and whether any corrections are needed.
